Sigmund Freud and Příbor

Sigmund Freud, the well-known psychologist and psychiatrist, was born in the town of Příbor (Freiberg in German) in 1856. Even though he moved with his family when he was three (first to Leipzig and then to Vienna), he stayed in contact with his birthplace.

In Příbor, there is a museum in the house where he was born, Sigmund Freud memorial and a central square named after S. Freud.
